The worms are bred in outdoor breeding units which are constantly harvested throughout the year. The worms are then moved into a temperature controlled indoor unit to make sure that we constantly have a large stock of worms to enable us to meet any order quickly, efficiently and with the minimum of fuss.

The worm we breed is the Dendrobaena which is by far the most popular worm for fishing as it is a tough, healthy worm which can survive for a great deal of time. Therefore it is ideal for delivery right across the country.

The worms are also ideal for composting and soil improvements. Vermiculture is a process of using worms to decompose organic matter, the by-product of which is a nutrient rich compost.
